3 door ford fiesta st
The Ford Fiesta ST is set to go on sale in Europe in five-door form from October. Priced in at £19,495 for an ST-2, the new car is capable of 0-62mph in 6.9 seconds and features a 179bhp 1.6-litre EcoBoost petrol engine.
The standard Fiesta ST has remained an evo favourite from launch, with the recently unveiled ST200 receiving a full five-star rating.
Ford says that the three-door ST's driving dynamics have remained, including the car's Torque Vectoring technology and three-mode ESC.
Options with the five-door ST include 'Race Red and Spirit Blue' paints, as well as the ability to spec the car as a range-topping ST-3. This adds cruise control, sat nav, keyless entry, climate control and power folding mirrors.
It doesn't appear that the five-door ST will be available in any lower spec than an ST-2. A three-door ST-2 starts at £18,895, putting it just £600 behind the more practical five-door car.
Expect more on the five-door ST at the Paris Motor Show this week.
